Jacqueline Idun, FNP, RN, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who works with the underserved community in Northern California. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville in 2013 and worked at the University’s medical center for a few years. Later, she headed to California as a travel nurse at John Muir Health.
In 2019 she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland and has since been serving the medical needs of the communities there. Jacqueline focuses on disease prevention and treatment while working with underserved communities, undocumented patients, and people from different ethnic backgrounds. She also provides prenatal care and women’s health services.
Jacqueline is pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She is also a subject matter expert for the California Board of Nursing for the nurse practitioner scope of practice, AB 890 Bill. She is passionate about global health and inter-professional education and collaboration.
Jacqueline is active in several organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
She enjoys traveling, watching feel-good movies, and catching up on life with friends and family in her spare time.
